FFTP Members,
First of all, I am in the midst of a major project for Feel Free to Prosper. I will share more about that in the future as we evolve. I just completed a very crucial phase - it was long overdue (a year!), so I'm feeling rather empowered at the moment :-)
But I have to give a great deal of credit to Karen Gordon, http://www.karenjgordon.com, my partner in this endeavor and a talented writer, for her endless support, and to my agent, Paul - without them, it never would have gotten done at all. Thank you, Karen, from my heart. When Paul receives everything on Monday (his scheduled deadline - I call it my "lifeline") - that will be all the "thanks" he wants.
To the current topic...
So at this time, aside from my existing private students, I have not planned to take on any additional.
However, several people have contacted me who are interested in private mentoring and while conversing with one, I came up with a way to acommodate them - it will be even more affordable for them - and much more time effective for me.
I said I would form a "semi" private mentoring group - a small intimate group to be personally mentored by me. But there will be only five students in this group.
In my opinion there is an advantage to interactive group mentoring because each member learns from my interaction with the others. But in this case, the group is small enough so that each member receives the benefits of my individual attention just like one-to-one mentoring. But since I am addressing the five students together, I can preserve my time and energy and thus be able to offer my best to this group.
We will have weekly calls and support as needed in between and of course, the Feel Free to Prosper lessons are included - along other perks that my private students receive.
My one-on-one mentoring is much more expensive, so this is an opportunity to get the benefits of individual mentoring at a very affordable cost, since my fee is shared among the group.
Two of those who contacted me know already about this idea and are excited to begin. I can accept three more to complete the group. Please note that this message also went out to my large list of newsletter subscribers, so acceptance will be based on the earliest response. You can help me inspire five new successes, including your own!
Oh...below is an exciting note I just received from a new student I met last month who decided to take the Feel Free to Prosper program. This is a particularly meaningful result given the state of the economy and her industry and you'll see why (Teri has given me permission to share her message):

I just wanted to thank you. I am new to the networking group that you are a member of and was just making comments here and there...
Then you called me and things started to change. I don't really know how to explain it. Our conversation on the phone was just wonderful. You are a very easy person to talk with.
After our conversation I decided to try your program. I am in real estate and the market is very slow right now, so I did have the extra time to try something new!
Well, the next day something GREAT happened! Out of the blue, a past client of mine called and left me a message. I called him back later and he stated that his cousin was in town and would I meet with him about some commercial property. OF COURSE I WOULD!! Well, I met with him and he told me that he and his partner wanted to buy some commercial property and not to go over 3,000,000!! Oh my goodness!!
Then, two of my listings received contracts on them and are waiting to close. I also received two buyers....wrote 5 contracts in 7 days!! I am telling you the truth, this is so uncanny!!! Now I know that you would say that this is supposed to happen and I am sure you are right, and it sure is fun!! I do believe in being positive and I am excited to learn more from your program, Marilyn!
